mindful movement for kids
Introduce your child to the wonderful world of meditation!
In this class, both grown-up AND child participate through movement, breathwork, and body awareness. Class starts with everyone shaking out the sillies, moving freely and stretching. Once seated, we will practice deep belly-breathing and experience a few short guided meditations. These practices are simple enough for children to follow, and will leave children feeling calm, relaxed and peaceful in both their body and their mind.
Kids can benefit from a consistent meditation practice through:
👍 Improved sleep
👍 Increased focus and prolonged attention span
👍 Reduced stress and anxiety
👍 Improved emotional regulation
👍 Increased self-awareness and empathy
